How do you explain the correlation between vaccines and autism?
Vaccines are relatively new.
Autism is also a relatively new diagnosis whose definition has been expanded and refined in recent decades.
Thus, as vaccines became more popular, the diagnosis of autism became more common.
That doesn’t mean vaccines cause autism.
If you ever bother to study science beyond the most basic level, you will find that correlation does not indicate causality.
People who use correlational data as evidence of causality are only self-identifying as being scientifically illiterate.
