Trump signs new counterterrorism strategy targeting ‘pro-transgender’ extremists as major threat

Trump’s 2026 counter-terrorism strategy says that his administration will ‘prioritize the rapid identification and neutralization’ of ‘radically pro-transgender’ groups, as well as other ‘violent left-wing extremists.’

WASHINGTON, D.C. (LifeSiteNews) — In a move unthinkable during the Biden administration, the United States Counterterrorism Strategy 2026 released by the Trump White House names transgender ideology as a major domestic security threat.

The counterterrorism (CT) strategy presented by the Trump administration reflects a marked shift in defining the sources of domestic terrorism. Under the Biden-Harris regime, conservatives, Christians, and patriots were constantly under suspicion and cited as terrorist threats.

The anarchist group Antifa and those who embrace extreme transgender ideology – both of whom have been behind violence, destruction, and, in the case of certain “transgender” individuals, mass murder – are now ranked as similarly dangerous as cartels and Islamist terror groups.

The 16-page document criticizes the intelligence community’s (IC) previous “plotting against conservative Catholics attending traditional mass in Virginia, parents standing up for their children at school board meetings, Members of Congress, or President Trump and his associates.” It adds that “this Administration will continue to prohibit the IC from being used politically against innocent Americans.”

“As real threats were ignored or underplayed, Americans have witnessed the politically motivated killings of Christians and conservatives committed by violent left-wing extremists, including the assassination of Charlie Kirk by a radical who espoused extreme transgender ideologies,” the strategy document explains.

“In addition to cartels and Islamist terror groups, our national CT activities will also prioritize the rapid identification and neutralization of violent secular political groups whose ideology is anti-American, radically pro-transgender, and anarchist,” it adds.

“We will use all the tools constitutionally available to us to map them at home, identify their membership, map their ties to international organizations like Antifa, and use law enforcement tools to cripple them operationally before they can maim or kill the innocent. We will do the same with the state sponsors of such groups and those governments undertaking lethal plots on U.S. soil or against Americans anywhere,” it continues.

“We see a threat, we will respond to it, and we will crush it, whether it is the cartels, the jihadists, or violent left-wing extremists like antifa and like the ‘transgender’ killers, the ‘non-binary,’ the left-wing radicals who killed my friend Charlie Kirk. We will take them on, head on,” senior director for counterterrorism Sebastian Gorka emphasized.

In recent years, extreme violence by gender-confused individuals has been on the rise.

After a Rhode Island man who had undergone so-called “gender reassignment” surgery went on a murderous spree at a high school hockey game earlier this year, journalist Benny Johnson listed the steady stream of deadly transgender-linked violence:

·       Tumbler Ridge shooter was “transgender.”

·       Annunciation Catholic school shooter identified as “trans”

·       Nashville Christian school shooter identified as “trans”

·       Lakewood Church shooter identified as “trans”

·       Colorado Springs shooter identified as “non-binary”

·       Denver shooter identified as “trans”

·       Aberdeen shooter identified as “trans”

·       Iowa high school shooter “trans” activist

·       Charlie Kirk’s assassin Tyler Robinson had a furry obsession and lived with “transgender” boyfriend

·       Trump’s attempted assassin Thomas Crooks used they/them pronouns, had a deep interest in furries, and was exploring “gender identity.”

“Radical gender ideology is pushing unstable individuals toward violence and targeting innocent people,” wrote Johnson. “Trans violence is an epidemic and the threat is escalating.”

“To call the transgender movement radical would be an understatement,” declaredTyler O’Neil, senior editor at the Daily Signal, commenting on the new Trump CT strategy.

“This movement not only encourages men and women to adopt a ‘gender identity’ as the opposite sex and to alter their bodies to make them conform to this identity, but it also demands that society accept, and even celebrate, the delusion,” explained O’Neil. “Activist groups such as the Human Rights Campaign not only demand societal acceptance but also demonize dissent as a form of violence against people.”

At the outset of his second Trump administration, the Pentagon did an about-face on its Biden-era DEI policy that permitted sexually dysphoric individuals to indulge in transgender identity fantasies within the military. Those individuals were banned from joining and those currently in uniform were removed unless they were able to obtain an exemption.
