(LifeSiteNews) — I had a recent conversation with Pope Leo XIV’s former seminary classmate Prof. William Thomas, who startled me with his brutal and very frank observations of the Pope and his closest collaborators in his synodal project. Prof. Thomas identified them by name and described them as “all pro-gay, pro-LGBT.” A brief look at some of the more outstanding LGBT controversies of Leo’s first year follows:

May 22 – Pope Leo approved beatification process for bishop who let indigenous children touch his genitals

Aug. 29 – Leo XIV’s Vatican welcomes ‘LGBT pilgrims’ as it scrubs references to SSPX pilgrimage; WATCH: Thousands of ‘LGBT Catholics’ process into St. Peter’s Basilica for Jubilee Year pilgrimage

Sept. 1 – Pope Leo meets James Martin, SJ – the most prominent Catholic LGBT promoter

Sept. 2 – Pope Leo met with pro-LGBT, pro-abortion nun Sr. Caram

Sept. 18 – Pope Leo on LGBTQ: ‘We have to change attitudes before we ever change doctrine’

Oct. 16 – Pope Leo praises priest who fantasized about pedophilia

Nov. 13 – Pope Leo XIV meets with ‘married’ homosexuals at Vatican

April 27 – Leo XIV downplays sexual morality, ‘condemns’ the death penalty

May 4 – Leo XIV’s Vatican Synod report suggests homosexual ‘relationships’ may not be sinful
